Siamaze Hostel in Bangkok

This is THE lifestyle for any backpacker around the world. It is near Khao San Road, but away from all the hustle and bustle of Bangkok. Here, you can catch a hop-on and hop-off bus from the terminus that connects all areas within Bangkok and spend your day lazing around whilst taking in all the amazing sights surrounding you (all the while seated very comfortably)! You can reach famous areas within minutes, and because everything is so close by, you’ll have more time to see things.

Siamaze Hostel is within a short distance from the shopping malls nearby. It’s great knowing that amenities are within a stone’s throw away, and that you won’t have to worry about traffic jams and hassles after what was hopefully an already eventful exhausting day.

Siamaze Hostel offers exclusive rooms for ladies, and also provide mixed rooms with shared bathrooms. For those preferring a bit more privacy, they also offer private rooms.

In the dorms, each of the bunk beds has its own individual curtains to ensure maximum privacy within what is usually a not-so-private setting. There are 3 types of rooms, depending on the amount of occupants. You can choose 4 beds, 8 beds women-only, or 8 beds mixed. Reading lights allow you to spend your last few moments awake searching for tomorrow’s adventure (Wifi is free!). A padlock to a locker provides a secure method of holding any valuable belongings. Sockets are located next to each of the beds, so there won’t be any arguing over who’s going to charge their phone first. They also have a Family room for 4 people with an ensuite bathroom. All rooms have AC!

Private rooms all come with a king size bed, cable TV, safety deposit box and a balcony. More like a 3-star hotel than a hostel, you’d think!  If you feel like being sociable, pick any of the TV Lounge, dining area or rooftop and make some new friends. The rooftop provides a breathtaking view of the city at night.

Big and clean are two words that definitely should be used to describe this place. Linens are changed every day, and you wake up to a  lovely free breakfast each morning. Staff will even go out of their way to accommodate you should you have any specific dietary requirements.

You will quickly feel the Thai atmosphere once you enter the rooms, with the paintings on the walls  having been artistically created by locals. This hostel depicts Thai culture very elegantly.

This is a great place for budget travellers because it gives the real deal without taking too much out of your wallet.
